Wordless Wednesday: bring it on!
lazy Saturday
“Hey guys, wanna play?!”
“Lassie, I think it’s about time we taught that pup about Lazy Saturdays.”
“The best way to teach her is by example.”
After a nice morning in the yard, we are enjoying a lovely, lazy Saturday afternoon.
I’m still cozy in my pajamas and watching the snow fall out the window.
A perfect Saturday.
Happy Saturday! ;]
a little bit of chasing action
A New Year
A third year of blogging.
2010 has a pathetic amount of posts and then 2011 easily outdid 2010 as far as post count goes.
I wonder if 2012 will be able to keep up and outshine 2011.
I’m curious to see what this new year will bring for me and my dogs. I hope it’s good.
(I still think that the Mayan’s just got too tired and figured someone else would finish the calender for them if people were still around come 2012).
2011 brought a lot of new experiences and memories with the dogs.
Like Petal’s first camping trip.
The dogs tried bully sticks for the first time.
Petal learned how to p a i n t.
Lassie earned his CGC.
I caught two pets, that supposedly don’t enjoy each other’s company much, SPOONING.
The dogs found a new l o v e.
And the girls took up yoga.
Petal made a new friend and had a sleepover.
We wrote our very first review and really enjoyed it.
And so much more!
2011 was a great year.
Thank you all for following, reading, commenting and just being awesome in general.
Bring it on 2012!
Christmas loot
For Christmas these lucky dogs got some new toys! And a few treats, too.
They’ve been having lots of fun with their new toys.
They got…
Three (super cute) squeaky balloon animals…
The dogs are pretty pleased with their new stuff.
They love to chase down the bouncy lightbulb, squeak the balloon animals and play tug and keep-away with their rope.
Hope you all enjoyed your holidays and are ready for a new year!

Merry Christmas!
Short road trip!
“Are we there yet?”
“No? Okay, I’ll just go back to sleep then.”
All cozy in the car.
I think going out to eat was their favorite part (they got lots of snackies), but the park was also fun.
Petal barked at dogs, birds, strollers, a balloon, frisbees, etc. etc.
Lassie peed on trees and showed off his loveliness.
And Ella… well Ella spent her time trying to get her Gentle Leader off.
“Get off! Get off!”
She was also rubbing her face all over our legs, nearly tripping most of us.
She learned when she was a puppy that when you rub your face in the snow, the Gentle Leader will get wet and stretch and then you can slip free!
Not completely free, of course, because it does clip to her collar (thankfully), but free from the weird thing on her face!
She doesn’t seem to realize that it was the snow that got it off.
She seems to think it was just the ground in general.
So she ended up walking around the park looking like this:
Crazy mutt!
And while Ella seemed to enjoy the warmer weather in Nevada, I think Petal may have been wondering where all the snow went.
“It’s gotta be around here somewhere!”
While Ella was busy trying to free herself and Petal was busy looking for snow and barking at dogs, birds, and a remote control car; Lassie was busy being… well, Lassie.
A camera ham and attention seeker.
Our little day trip was so fun and it was really great to see my Grandma, Aunt and cousin.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!
