Today you guys will be hearing from me, Petal, the cuter one of @marquieandpetal on Instagram. I keep telling her my name ought to go first, but she woofs something about alphabetical order, which is ridiculous. Who do you think named me?! She totally set me up there.
But it’s Share Gratitude week, so I will say that I am grateful for her nonetheless.
Or… for her thumbs, at least. The minute I grow my own opposable thumbs she’s outta here.*
I’m getting off track here. Today’s post is actually all about my gratitude for treats. Delicious treats. Where would we be without them? Someplace much less wonderful, that’s for sure.
I love treats. All kinds of treats.
Fruity treats.
Veggie treats.
Spills (tip: if your human says “Oops!” or “Oh no!” while in the kitchen, RUN to them! There is a delicious mess to be cleaned up).
But the best treat of all are meaty treats!
I was very grateful to be able to try some Blue Wilderness Salmon treats. Salmon is very good for your health, says the human. It is also smelly, very smelly, and delicious. You decide which is more important (hint: the latter is more important).
They came in this soft and chewy square shape which the human (cheapskate that she is) can easily break into smaller pieces. She uses them when I need to be superduper focused or I’ve done something superduper good (like not “going crazy” (her words) when I see another dog).
Blue Wilderness Salmon treats get my stamp of approval for deliciousness and smelliness. Mom says they appear to be pretty good as far as health goes as well.
You can order them on Chewy.com, they would make a great stocking stuffer for your pooch!
While we’re here, we’d like to add the team at Chewy.com to our “Grateful For…” list. Team Chewy, you guys are so great and I’m not just saying that because you send me treats! You guys are very kind to my human and she truly enjoys doing reviews for you guys. And, as it’s my job to look out for her, I really appreciate that.
And the treats. Can’t go wrong with treats.
*I’m just kidding, she can stay even if that does happen, but mostly because it would be strange to rub my own belly.
And I love her.
Even though she’s a cheapskate.
note: I was sent 1 (one) 4oz bag of Blue Wilderness Trail Treats from Chewy.com in exchange for my honest review. I was not compensated in any other way. All opinions expressed here are entirely my own based on my own experience with the product.
It’s day two of Share Gratitude week! A blog hop brought to you by Cascadian Nomads (they also blogged about food today and just as we hadn’t planned to match posts yesterday, we didn’t plan it today (in fact, I almost changed my pre-planned theme of today’s post after seeing Bethany’s as I wondered if unplanned matching twice in a row was awesome or freaky, haha). If our third posts end up matching we’re getting DNA tested to see if we’re long lost relatives (or if one of us has mind reading powers) ;P), Oz The Terrier (more food, mmm), Kitty Cat Chronicles (five grateful kitties!) and myself. You are invited to join in anytime throughout the week (the hop is open from the 24th – the 30th) and as often as you’d like (multiple entries are welcome!). You can join in on the fun by blogging about what you’re grateful for, sharing on social media using the hashtag #ShareGratitude or right here in the comments! We would love to know what you are grateful for this holiday season and year round.
Grab the badge and the Linky code and join in (please link directly to a Share Gratitude post and not your home/main/landing page. Thank you!)
Adding more than one post is encouraged; the more gratitude, the better.
Treats are definitely something to be thankful for…and belly rubs…but mostly treats! BOL

My boys would rank treats right up at the top for what to be grateful for!! They always know when we have come home from the pet store or if some come in the mail. Actually they think every package that comes in the mail is for them.

Well, we both have awesome taste in dogs so of course we are grateful for similar things! I don’t think I have ever seen these treats before but we agree that breaking up small for training and salmon stinky are the very best things to appreciate about a treat!
