Ella – July 2006-August 2012

July 26 2006 – August 5 2012

I know you guys are all probably wondering what happened— believe me, I am too—, but I can only guess and the only guess that makes any sort of sense to me is that her heart just gave out.
It was very quick, very sudden. She didn’t even make it to the vet.
I will tell you more of what I can, but… not now.

The Collies and I will be taking a break from blogging.
I don’t know how long it will be.

  1. Oh my God, Marquie, I am so unbelievably sorry for your (and Petal’s, and Lassie’s) loss. I can only imagine what you must be going through. I hope that you’ll find comfort in the knowledge that you gave her the best, most loving, happy, safe, comfortable life that she could possibly have had. I’m so sorry. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

  2. Oh my God, Marquie I am so incredibly sorry for your family’s loss. I know that you, Lassie and Petal must be in terrible shock. I know this is devastating. My Mommy knows all too well about a loss like this. I am so, so sorry. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Ella was and always will be incredibly beautiful. I pray for God’s comfort, peace and healing during this very sad time. My heart is with you.

  3. So sorry :(
She’s gone to rainbow bridge where she can run wild and be happy and she’ll always be watching over you and protecting you from any harm in her way of thanking you for all the care you gave her…
Come back to blogging when you’re okay, Marquie take your time :)

  4. Know you have friends in cyber paw land. Having lost Deacon in 2011, I know how you feel. For me blogging about it helped. For you the process may be different. Know you have pals that understand the bond between dog and human. There are even places to chat rooms where people greave for their beloved furry family.

If you need someone to talk to, you need only ask.
